Whilst focusing on panoramic photography, the course has something for everyone and includes tutorials and practical sessions encompassing the following:

Methods of shooting images (raw, jpeg and other file formats)

As one of the World's leading outdoor photographers and whose panoramic photographs have overwhelmed us for years, Colin Prior is delighted to share with you how to get the best panoramic shots from the beautiful locations found within the Tay Valley in Perthshire.
Out on location you will be developing and practising your skills returning each day to the stunning Hilton Dunkeld House Hotel where you will enjoy luxury accommodation, exquisite food ,excellent service and of course the chance to go through your shots of the day with Colin.
There is even an early morning shoot for those keen to experience those 'Magic Hours' of light and still be back in time for a hearty breakfast! (Not compulsory)

Welcome reception and presentation - Understanding what makes a better photograph

In this tutorial, Colin will help you understand the panoramic format and how to get the most from locations. You’ll discuss composition, metering and lenses and how to make images with a
big impact.
You will also explore the new opportunities in panoramic photography which digital stitching has created without the need of specialist cameras
11.00 - 4.00pm
Location - putting into practice what you've learnt and of course having fun!
