Wow, what an honour Colin. You are in very esteemed company, but then again so are they. Good luck with the lecture, would love to hear it.

Colin, really enjoyed the podcast! Your capturing some incredible images and I see what you mean about not over processing the shots. I think landscape is a much more subtle field than mine although I do take landscape images more and more frequently (i use the as basis for paintings but also as a slowly growing personal expression of my psyche)
my favourite landscape photographers are Kenna and Minor White. Intimate landscapes I call them.
Yours have a tremendous feeling of being 'out there' .
regards
Gary

This was an informative and interesting interview. Colin made some very concise observations about how to approach Landscape photography. It is an aspect of photography which I haven't got into as yet but this has whetted my appetite.

Also of interest is the practical side of things as regards the camping gear necessary for such trips. Great advice!

Wow!! What a shot!! The timing is perfect. You can sense the power of the ocean and the icy wind.
As always Colin, first class.

Hi Colin,

Impressive stuff - particularly liked the way you coped with keeping the horizon straight in that raging sea ;-).

Had I been there the only photo I could have taken would have been the bottom the 'big white telephone'.
